Rock House Marina presents their 2021 Christmas Season Kickoff event with Live Music from Barren Minds on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

• 1:00-4:00 PM: Live Music from Barren Minds
• 4:00 PM: Ugly Sweater Contest
• 4:30 PM: Santa Arrives
• 5:00 PM: Lighted Boat Parade Around the Marina

Enjoy a full schedule of holiday festivities for the whole family on the waterfront at Claytor Lake! Events and activities include live music from Barren Minds, visit from Santa arriving in a unique way, lighted boat parade around the marina, Ugly Sweater Contest with $100 gift card for the winner, kids activities including face painting & balloon animals, food from Tony's Smokin Good BBQ, Christmas tree and wreath sales, hot cider, hot chocolate and S'mores bars, cold beverages, Christmas goodies and more!

Barren Minds plays a mix of 60s, 70s and 80s rock as well as some original material that has a blues and rock influence.

The band was originally formed while they were students at Christiansburg High, they placed multiple times in the annual Shelor Motor Mile Grow The Future Regional High School Talent Show.
