UPDATE: Due to anticipated weather, Winter Wonderland will now be tomorrow, Sunday, Dec 12, from 6-8 p.m. outside at the Recreation Center.
The Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation presents their 2021 Winter Winterland event on Saturday, December 12, 2021 outside the Christiansburg Recreation Center.
The Christiansburg Recreation Center is transforming to a winter wonderland! Join us for a fun evening of Christmas-themed games, activities in Santa's Workshop, hot chocolate and cookies, Christmas caroling, a visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus and much more! There will be plenty of fun and free activities for the whole family to enjoy.
There will be prizes for winners of Pin the Nose on Rudolph, Snowball Toss, Musical Candy Canes, Elf Says, Bingo, Penguin Wobble, Limbo and more!
After you take pictures with Santa Claus and visit Mrs. Claus' Kitchen for hot chocolate and cookies, sit down and relax and watch a holiday movie on our giant movie screen (don’t forget your lawn chairs). While watching the movie, you can also grab some fresh, warm kettle corn from Karly’s Kettle Korn, soup from Chicken Salad Chick, or a nice hot drink at Chef Loren’s.
All are welcome.
We’ll have patio heaters to help keep you warm, but Winter Wonderland will take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
