Description:
Virginia Tech Track & Field hosts the annual Virginia Tech Invitational on Friday, January 14, 2022 and Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Virginia Tech's Rector Field House.

The Virginia Tech track and field squads kick off their 2021 home meet schedule and will welcome 10 schools to Rector Field House for the Virginia Tech Invitational. The Hokies will be joined by 11 other programs this weekend, including five ACC schools (Duke, North Carolina, NC State, Syracuse, and Virginia), Tennessee, Army, UNC Charlotte, High Point, Liberty and VCU.

Running Events:
• 5:00 pm: Women 3000m Run
• 5:15 pm: Men 3000m Run
• 5:40 pm: Women 1000m Run
• 5:50 pm: Men 1000m Run
• 6:05 pm: Women 60m Hurdles - Prelim
• 6:20 pm: Men 60m Hurdles - Prelim
• 6:30 pm: Women 60m Dash - Prelim
• 6:40 pm: Men 60m Dash - Prelim
• 6:50 pm: Women Mile Run
• 7:05 pm: Men Mile Run
• 7:20 pm: Women 60m Dash - Final
• 7:30 pm: Men 60m Dash – Final
• 7:45 pm: Men 60m Hurdles - Final
• 7:55 pm: Women 60m Hurdles - Final
• 8:05 pm: Women 500m Run
• 8:10 pm: Men 500m Run
• 8:25 pm: Women 300m Run

Admission is free for all spectators and parking is available in the lots surrounding Rector Field House.

Effective Saturday, January 15th, 2022, Virginia Tech Athletics will institute a policy requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid test taken within 72 hours for indoor events. Face masks continue to be required and must be worn during all home indoor athletic events.
