The Christiansburg Public Library presents the program "Dyslexia - The Basics" on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurobiological in origin. It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities. This presentation will discuss the characteristics of dyslexia, the common myths, and various interventions. An extensive resource list will also be provided.
