Science on Tap - New River Valley presents the program "A Virus Walks Into A Bar" on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Rising Silo Farm Brewery in Blacksburg, VA.
Join us in person at Rising Silo or live on YouTube (https://youtu.be/UzVQ-OBnqU0) for an interactive discussion about coronavirus, herpes, proviral and antiviral food and beverages, activities like BINGO and more with Dr. Andrea Bertke and her research team.
Rising Silo will also be offering antiviral and proviral themed menu items for purchase.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Science on Tap - New River Valley is a monthly event with science-inspired speakers, performers, and discussions. We support bringing science to our community and our community’s support to local research.
We kick off the event with games, comedy, or other fun things. Then, an invited guest researcher demos their research. And then we'll discuss, ask questions, learn together and mingle.
