Domino's on Roanoke Street in Christiansburg, VA presents "A Celebration of Women!" featuring a fundraiser for both the Women's Resource Center of the New River Valley and Lishy's Gift in Roanoke along with a Book Launch with local author Ally Shaw and her book "Chasing Tigers in the Dark" on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
Join us for a great celebration and cause! An all female pizza team will run the location and 100% of the sales during the day will be donated to two women run local charities, the Women's Resource Center of the New River Valley and Lishy's Gift in Roanoke, VA.
In addition, this is also the launch day for "Chasing Tigers in the Dark: Life Lessons of a Fierce Survivor" written by Ally Shaw, also the co-franchise owner of the store. The book is a revealing memoir about overcoming cancer, abuse, hardship and trauma. And, copies will be available for purchase. Ally Shaw will be on hand from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A portion of the book proceeds will also be donated to the two charities.
There will also be a raffle prizes. The seven raffle winner will be drawn at 5:00 PM on site at the store.
The Domino's location is open from 10:00 AM to midnight.
