Virginia Tech Alumni Association presents a Sesquicentennial HokieTalk titled "Celebrating 100 Years of Women at Virginia Tech" on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 on Zoom streamed live from the Health Science and Technology campus in Roanoke, VA.
The event will feature three 10-minute HokieTalks by women from the Health Science and Technology Campus in Roanoke, plus time for questions. The program will be moderated by Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine Dean Lee Learman.
Talks include:
• Taking the “I” out of Biostatistics: Improving Health through Collaboration by Alexandra Hanlon, College of Science
• Translational Research in Pets to Advance Medicine for All Species by Shawna Klahn, College of Veterinary Medicine
• Brain Drain: Fluid Flow in the Brain by Jennifer Munson, College of Engineering and Fralin Biomedical Research Institute
Admission is free though registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
