The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts - Music Department continues their Music on Mondays concert series with a performance from violinist Hyeri Choi and pianist Hsiang Tu on Monday, April 11, 2022 inside the Squires Recital Salon located within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Born in Busan, Korea, Hyeri Choi is Assistant Professor of Violin at Idaho State University, where she coordinates the string program, teaches violin, viola, and related academic courses, and directs the string division of the ISU Summer Institute for Piano and Strings.
Choi is a passionate orchestra, solo, and chamber musician.

Hsiang Tu is Assistant Professor of Piano at Virginia Tech. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, he debuted in New York at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center as the winner of The Juilliard School Concerto Competition and has performed in venues all over the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, National Museum Cardiff, and National Recital Hall in Taipei.

Admission is $15.00 for the general public, $12.00 for seniors and $10.00 for students.
