The Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley presents the 14th Annual Scrabble Tournament for Literacy on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the German Club Manor on the campus of Virginia Tech.

The Scrabble Tournament is back! We’re excited for the in-person return of our annual Scrabble Tournament. Join us for a fun evening of word play!

The Scrabble Tournament features exciting play and great fun, as well as delicious hors d’oeuvres; a cash bar will be available. Play is team-based, with three persons per team and all levels of Scrabble players are encouraged to join us.

The cost to enter is $100.00 per team. Individuals may register for $35.00 and will be placed with a team.

When you call and register, please have the following information available:
• Names of players
• Your team name (for example, "Triple Trouble")
• Your team's level of play (competitive, just for fun, no preference)

Doors open at 5:30 PM and play begins at 6:15 PM.
