Radford University Athletics presents the Sixth Annual Highlander 5K offered both in-person or virtually on Saturday, April 30, 2022 starting at the Dedmon Center at Radford University and ending at the Bisset Park in Radford, VA.

Race Schedule:
• 7:30-8:45 AM: Race Day Packet Pick-Up at the Dedmon Center
• 9:00 AM: 5k Starts

The 5K will begin at the Dedmon Center, and runners will jump on the Bisset Park trail along the river. This race provides a scenic and family-friendly race for everyone to enjoy! Participants will receive a short-sleeved shirt, a finisher's medal and bib.

The cost is $40.00 per person.

All race proceeds go towards the Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarship aid to our 16 Division I programs.

The last day to register online is Friday, April 29th by 11:59 PM. The last day to register in-person is at packet pick-up on Friday, April 29th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 4:00-7:00 PM at the Dedmon Center. Race day registration will not be available.

The virtual race participants will have from April 16th to April 30th to run the 5k at your convenience and submit your completion time.

Immediately following the race, join the Spring Wing Ding in Bisset Park featuring live music from Barren Minds, food trucks and adult beverages.
