The New River Valley Master Gardner Association (NRVMGA) hosts their 2022 Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, May 7, 2022 on the front lawn of the Montgomery County Government Center in Christiansburg, VA.
An abundant supply of locally grown perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs, veggies, native plants, house plants and herbs will be on sale. Some plants are grown by NRVMGA members and others are donated by retailers, individuals and organizations from throughout the area. There will also be a "garden supply/treasure area" with gardening related items for sale.
In addition, there will be a Plant Clinic on site to answer your plant questions, problem plant issues or gardening concerns. There will also be a selection of free seeds to give away to help support pollinators in our area.
Buy or order rain barrels. Painted and unpainted available for purchase.
Enjoy a yard sale for your garden needs!
Proceeds support our Community Grants Program which provides funds for area educational gardening projects. These grants are used throughout four counties (Pulaski, Floyd, Giles and Montgomery) to assist local organizations, (including schools, libraries, food banks, nursing homes and parks) to create or further develop gardening projects that educate and benefit the community.
The event is rain or shine.
The Montgomery County Government Center is located at 755 Roanoke Street in Christiansburg, VA.
