The Institute of Creativity, Arts and Technology (ICAT), Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts and the Creativity + Innovation present the New Music + Technology Festival 2022 with a Pre-Festival Lecture on the Music of Alvin Lucier on Monday, May 2, 2022 inside the Perspective Gallery located within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

The lecture features Tiffany Skidmore.

The VT New Music + Technology Festival Concerts will feature performances of masterworks by one of the foremost experimental musicians of the 20th century, Alvin Lucier (1931-2021), as well the premiere of new works by faculty, students, alumni, and guest artists, including the L2Ork Linux Laptop Orchestra and the New Music Ensemble.

All events are free. Reservations are required for some events.
