The New River Blues Society and the Eastern Divide Brewing Company are thrilled to kick off the next season of Blues, Brews and Bloodys with the Howlin' Mudbellies on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Eastern Divide Brewing.
The Howlin' Mudbellies are a blues group featuring Dan Dunlap, Greg Bump, Roger Crowder and Joey Ballard. Rhythmic, percussive, shaking and grooving blues, from the deep south country to the rockin' city. Picking, slide, and finger style acoustic guitar, Dobro, thumping bass, and sometimes added kick of drums and harmonica.
The Blacksburg band has shared the stage with blues and bluegrass legends like Bo Diddley, Willie Watson, Bob Margolin, John Hammond and the Nighthawks.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
The New River Blues Society formed to help keep traditional blues alive in the New River Valley and surrounding area is a 501(c)3 is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to keep the Blues alive by providing an organization to teach, share, and promote the Blues in the New River Valley.
