Description:
The Newport Jamboree kicks off their 13th Season Jamboree featuring the music of Scott Fore and Colby Helms & The Virginia Creepers on Saturday, May 21, 2021 a2 the Newport Community Park.
Scott Fore is an internationally recognized guitarist from Radford, VA having won the National Flatpicking Championships two times that is held in Winfield, Kansas. He is also the Doc Watson guitar champion and the Wayne Henderson Champion of Champions. He has also has published a popular instructional book on flatpicking.

We will ask for a $5.00 donation from each adult to benefit the bands. Kids under 12 get in free.
Picnics and dogs on a leash are welcome.
Bring a chair, pack a swimsuit and your creekin' shoes and invite a friend.
The Village of Newport Ruritan Park is conveniently located 1.4 miles down Highway 42 / 650 Bluegrass Trail keep your eyes peeled for the signs off of 460 West.
