Radford Public Library presents a Science Speaker Series event titled "Plants and Ecosystems" on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Virginia Tech professor Dr. Meredith Steele and advisor Karen Drake-Whitney will teach interested students about the science found in the dirt with a special focus on understanding cities and their effects on water quality, ecosystem services and biogeochemical cycles.

This program is part of our new library programming series geared toward serving homeschooling families. The focus is on how science can be used in a variety of different careers.
