The Salvation Army presents the Hero Fun Run 5K Walk, Run & Roll benefiting food insecurity on Sunday, September 11, 2022 starting and ending at the Christiansburg Recreation Center and along the Huckleberry Trail.
The Hero Fun Run is a family friendly run for all abilities to alleviate hunger in our community. In addition to the Hero Fun Run 5k, The Salvation Army band will perform, there will be a wonderful children's area, encouragement stations, awards, snacks, family games and costumes are encouraged!
A Wing drone will drop the start whistle to Christiansburg Mayor Mike Barber.
Participants will receive a t-shirt.
The cost to enter is $15.00 and a virtual option is also available for the same cost.
