The Purple Party In the Park to support The Alzheimer's Association will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Nellie's Cave Park in Blacksburg, VA.
Join us for free ice cream with purple toppings, games, raffles and fun in the park! There will also be a raffle for donations, a donation-based yoga class with Erin from In Balance Yoga Studio at 10:00 AM, a water balloon toss at 1:00 PM, goodies for purchase, yard games and more! Just wear your best purple outfit and show up for the fun.
Erin from In Balance Yoga Studio will lead the all levels flow class with time for mindfulness and breathwork. The class is free with a suggested donation to support the Alzheimer's Association. The donations can be made with cash, check or online. Participants should bring a yoga mat or beach towel and water.
If you plan to participate in the yoga class, you can fill out the waiver ahead of time online at https://www.inbalanceyogastudio.com/new-students/. Or you may fill it out in person when you arrive on Saturday.
Admission is free and donations are encouraged. All donations will go directly to local programs, support, and care for those affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
All are welcome and the venue is ADA friendly.
