Relay For Life of Montgomery County hosts their 2022 Relay For Life event titled "Lights, Camera, Relay For A Cure" on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Christiansburg Middle School.

Schedule of Events:
• 6:00 PM: Opening Ceremonies
• 6:45 PM: Parade of Teams
• 7:00 PM: 90 Proof Performs
• 8:00 PM: Zumba: Bust a Move Against Cancer
• 8:30 PM: Surrender Dorothy Performs
• 9:00 PM: Luminaria Ceremony
• 11:30 PM: Fight Back Ceremony
• 11:45 PM: Closing Ceremonies

We will celebrate cancer survivors and honor those who have lost their battle. There will be live music provided by Surrender Dorothy and 90 Proof, crafts and specialty vendors, food trucks and fun for all ages!

The community is welcome to join us as we come together to support and celebrate loved ones and caregivers and take action to fight cancer.

Admission is free and donations are greatly appreciated.

Get in the spirit, dress up and join in on our lap themes. Dress in glitz and glam clothes for the paparazzi lap, wear matching outfits for our twin lap, wear light up items for our light up lap, be a zombie for our zombie lap or just come as you are.

Relay for Life of Montgomery County, Virginia is a local Relay for Life organization.

Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for cancer research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.

The organization also organizes and participates in other events throughout the year.
