The Arc of the New River Valley presents Arc in the Park Day on Saturday, June 11, 2022 outside at the Blacksburg Municipal Park Shelter #1.

Join us for our first ever Arc in the Park Day. We are so excited to be able to safely get together after so much time apart! We hope you can come out and enjoy the free food, games, entertainment and friendships. The event will include an all-you-can-eat Hot Dog Bar with all the fixings, outdoor field games, face-painting, bubbles, music, a Gift Card Raffle and much much more!

We are holding a Gift Card Raffle to help raise funds for the good work we do all year long. Prizes include gift cards from Amelia’s, Zeppoli’s, In Blaance Yoga, The Cellar, The Lyric and more. Tickets are $5.00 each, and can be purchased online or in person at the Arc in the Park Day. The prize drawing will be held at the event at 5:00 PM. The last day to buy virtually is Thursday, June 9th. Participants do not have to be there in person to win. There will be multiple winners and individuals can win more than once.

A microboard provides respectful, person centered support for individuals and their families. The most important first step toward establishing a microboard for a person is helping the person to have a strong circle of friends.
