Claytor Lake State Park presents a Father's Day Fishing Event on Sunday, June 19, 2022.

Where's the best place to fish in Claytor Lake? Bring Dad to the park to find out! Join the rangers for a short discussion of fishing techniques and of the fish commonly found in our lake. This event is for beginners as well as accomplished fisherman. A practice casting area is provided as well as equipment and bait. Feel free to bring your own equipment.

Let's plan on a great Father's Day in the park!

A valid Virginia fishing license is required for those 16 years old or older and may be purchased in the Park Office, Gift Shop, or online.

This event is free, but the $7.00 per vehicle Virginia State Park parking fee does apply.
