Description:
The New River Valley Sheep & Goat Club is hosting a Felting Class at Merc Farms in Thee Draper Village on Friday, June 17, 2022.

Join us for some summer felting fun!

We will be making a sweet farm scene inside a tea cup! We will have various tea cups to choose from and even milk glass cups. These are becoming very popular, and can be used either as a pin cushion, or just a sweet decoration. The most fun part is that each one will look different. You can make either sheep or goats, a barn or just trees, your imagination is the limit!

This class is $20.00 for Club members and $25.00 for non-club-members.

The mission of the New River Valley Sheep & Goat club is to support and promote the sheep and goat agri-business throughout the region and provide education and appreciation of these breeds for the benefit of club members and the general public. As farmers, members are stewards of the land and believe it is important to raise healthy animals in a manner that improves their land, the community and the environment. The club welcomes all aspects of the sheep and goat breeds.

The New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club has over 200 member farms, and over 500 members, throughout the New River Valley as well as West Virginia and North Carolina.
