The 41st Annual Steppin' Out® festival will be held in downtown Blacksburg on Friday, August 5, 2022 and Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM on both days.

Friday Performance Schedule:

Main Stage:
• 2:00-3:00 PM: Off Our Rockers
• 3:45-4:45 PM: Seph Custer & The Flatbreaks
• 5:45-6:45 PM: Cinematheque
• 7:45-8:45 PM: The Jared Stout Band
• 9:45-10:45 PM: Deau Eyes

Acoustic Stage:
• 12:00-12:45 PM: Dean Trimble
• 1:00-1:40 PM: Kat Mills
• 2:00-3:00 PM: American Roots
• 3:30-4:30 PM: Ball & Chain
• 5:00-6:00 PM: Ash Devine & Co
• 6:45-7:45 PM: Clover Hollow

Community Stage:
• 12:30-1:00 PM: Say Yes to Science
• 1:30-2:00 PM: Story Time with Joelle
• 3:00-4:00 PM: Pil Seung Take Kwon Do
• 5:00-6:00 PM: Virginia Tech String Project
• 6:30-7:30 PM: HoloRhythm Drum School Performance and Drum Circle

Steppin' Out features over 200 exhibitors from around the United States selling unique handcrafted items – jewelry, pottery, textiles, metal work, basketry, stained & fused glass, yard art, fine art, furniture, toys, artisan foods, continuous live music & entertainment, the Draper Mile & Fun Run and so much more!

Downtown Blacksburg merchants also hold their much-awaited final clearance sidewalk sales during Steppin' Out. The festival foods you love are provided by downtown restaurants.

Listen to and enjoy over 25 excellent musical acts all afternoon and well into the evening, both Friday and Saturday. Steppin' Out is Southwest Virginia's premier street celebration!

Three stages of live performances make Steppin' Out one of this region's premiere arts and music events. The Main Stage provides continuous live music on College Avenue and Main Street. The Acoustic Stage brings folk, contemporary, and utterly unique sounds to the festival area of Main and Lee Streets. The Community Stage showcases local and regional performers from cloggers to belly dancers. The Community Stage is located in the National Bank of Blacksburg Parking lot on Roanoke Street.

Admission is free. Town of Blacksburg metered parking is all free and Blacksburg Transit provides free shuttles to get you there without the hassles.

Bring your friends! Bring your family! But, please don't bring your pets.
