Description:
Historic Smithfield presents the part one of the class Smithfield Basket Weaving on Saturday, July 9, 2022.

Schedule:
• July 9th from 1:00-4:00 PM: Part 1 - Basket Started
• July 10th from 1:00-4:00 PM: Part 2 - Basket Finished (Optional)

Participants will learn to weave an Appalachian style ribbed basket. The class will be led by Kathy Dulaney from Floyd, VA, a weaver of Old Appalachian style baskets for over 35 years.

The cost is $65.00 per person for Blacksburg residents and $70.00 for non-residents.
