Watch the Virginia Tech Women's Soccer team compete against non-conference opponent Northern Colorado on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Thompson Field.
In addition to the soccer, it's Hometown Heroes Day. Invite Your Hometown Heroes to the game. Whether they're first responders, military personnel, teachers, healthcare workers, or otherwise, invite them for an afternoon at Thompson Field. Hometown Heroes can enter to win a pair of tickets to Virginia Tech Football vs. Wofford on September 17th at the marketing table. Hometown Heroes who RSVP may be recognized and/or stand on the field during the national anthem and team introductions.
Arrive early and check out a squad car or firetruck at Thompson Field.
Join us 15 minutes before kickoff as we recognize senior forward #9 Calista Heister.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
All concessions sales at women's soccer games are cashless, requiring a debit or credit card for purchase. In addition, concessions will include menu options at fan-friendly prices. Alcohol is not served at women's soccer games.
Note: Parking fees on the campus of Virginia Tech do apply Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. You can purchase a daily pass online at

Gates at Thompson Field will open 60 minutes before kickoff on gamedays.
