Description:
Radford University Planetarium presents NASA's Artemis I Launch Fulldome Livestream on Monday, August 29, 2022.
We're back! We will re-open with a "bang" with an early-morning Artemis Launch Party and livestream. This will be a full-dome showing of the stream from NASA as Artemis prepares and then launches at 8:33 AM (weather permitting). Join us for this historic event!
Artemis I is the first in a series of increasingly complex missions that will enable human exploration to the Moon and Mars.
We will open the doors and start the livestream at 7:30 AM, and will continue until 9:00 AM.
We will seat visitors on a first-come basis. If there are too many people for the planetarium, Dr. Liss (Astronomy professor) will take people into an astronomy room to view the same livestream.
Please note that the launch is weather-dependent.
