Jessie Peterman Library presents an Author Talk with Raquel McCloud and her book "Tell Me My Story: What Does Adopted Mean?" on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
Join us for a special author talk with Raquel McCloud. Raquel has had the unique experience of being an adoptee, a birth mother, and an adoptive mother. She has written two children's books on the subject: "Tell Me My Story: What Does Adopted Mean" and "The ABC's of Adoption".
Taylan McCloud, the 13 year old illustrator of both books and sister of two adoptees, will be reading "Tell Me My Story", and "What Does Adopted Mean".
Raquel will talk about her experiences.
