Wonder Universe: A Children's Museum presents wondeRUNiverse 5k and Fun Run on Saturday, October 15, 2022 on the Huckleberry Trail starting and ending on the trail behind Uptown Christiansburg (NRV Mall).

Tentative Schedule:
• 9:00 AM: 5K race on Huckleberry Trail toward Blacksburg (out-and-back)
• 10:30 AM: Fun Run
• 11:30 AM: Medal Awards and Closing

Join us for a fantastic 5K and Family Fun run along the Huckleberry Trail in Wonder Universe's backyard. We'll run, play, and celebrate the mission of Wonder Universe in our community through the run in support of our regional children's museum.

The 5K is an out-and-back style race heading from the Uptown Christiansburg trailhead (across from Planet Fitness/Kohls) toward the Coal Mining Heritage Park and back.

All 5K participants will have a T-shirt included in their registration cost and families of 5K participants can play for free in Wonder Universe during the 5K with an adult's supervision.

The one mile run is for all ages to enjoy. Strollers are welcome. No t-shirts will be provided, but shirts will be available for sale on the day of the race for Fun Run participants.

All participants of either run will receive a free family day pass to enjoy Wonder Universe after the event.

The cost for the 5k is $25.00 per adult, $15.00 per family member if running as a family and $20.00 per youth participant. Wonder Universe Members can save $5.00 per entry. Registrants after October 14, 2022 will have to be an extra $5.00 late fee per entry.

The Family Fun Run is $15.00 per family (includes all family members) and $10.00 per family for Wonder Universe members.
