Watch the Virginia Tech Football team continue their 2022 home regular football season and compete against non-conference and out-of-state rival West Virginia University on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Lane Stadium.

Game Day Schedule:
• 4:00-6:45 PM: Hokie Village Fan Festival
• 5:00 PM: Hokie Walk on Beamer Way
• 5:30 PM: Gates Open
• 6:20 PM: March to Victory with bands & cheerleaders starting in Chicken Hill
• 7:30 PM: Kick-Off for Game

There will be a military flyover during the national anthem and Team Fastrax skydivers jump into Lane Stadium during pregame, weather permitting. The 2022 ACC Champion Hokies Men's Basketball team will be recognized on the field during a media timeout.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Lane Stadium offers both beer and seltzers for purchase on the concourses for those ages 21 and older.

In efforts to improve the flow and speed of transactions on all concourses of Lane, Virginia Tech Athletics introduces all cashless concessions for the first time.

The Hokie Village Fan Festival will be open before the game from 4:30-7:15 PM. Fans can enjoy food trucks and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) all season long, with some additional options available in the circle drive on the West Side of Cassell Coliseum. Various VT Athletic teams will be signing autographs.
