Anne Elise Hastings and Her Revolving Cast of Characters are a New Orleans based folk rock band. Anne Elise carries her characters with a powerful vocal range and lyrically driven music, inspired by the sounds of her Appalachian roots. Her provocative lyrics embody a southern raised girl with the tenacity of a grown woman.

Pairing acoustic guitar, banjo and violin, her songs contain hints of Townes Van Zandt, Emmylou Harris, Shakey Graves and The Black Lillies. Anne Elise is joined by her Revolving Cast of Characters, who much like a quality man, took some time and extreme patience to find.
