Description:
The Christiansburg Volunteer Fire Department presents the 18th Annual Fire Prevention Week Parade on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in downtown Christiansburg, VA starting at 7:00 PM.

Local emergency response vehicles and fire trucks from across the New River Valley will drive through downtown in celebration of Fire Prevention Week.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The parade route will be from East Main Street to Radford Street to Depot Street ending at the fire department in downtown Christiansburg, VA.

Note: Ear protection is recommended for young spectators.

The following streets will close to parking at 2:00 pm:
- Main Street from Park Street to Radford Street
- Roanoke Street from First Street to Main Street
- Radford Street from Main Street to College Street

These streets will close to through traffic at 6:00 PM and will reopen at 8:00 PM.
