The Pearisburg Merchants Association presents the 7th Annual Pearisburg Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, October 8, 2022 on Wenonah Avenue and Tazewell Streets in downtown Pearisburg, VA.
Schedule of Events:
Scarecrow Festival: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• 11:00 AM: Car Cruse-In
• 11:00 AM: Jordyn Mills Performance
• 11:30 AM: Giles County School of Dance Performance
• 11:30 AM: Tron Nation Walking Around Festival
• 12:30 PM: Dog Show
• 1:30 PM: Dance Motion Performance
• 1:30 PM: Tron Nation Walking Around Festival
Pearisburg Town Office Stage:
• 3:30 PM: Attic Static Performs
• 6:00 PM: Crystal River Band Performs
This fun, family friendly, fall festival features live music, vendors, kids fun and activities, food and more! The festival also features the annual Dog Show featuring dog tricks, costumes and more at the Giles County Courthouse lawn starting at 12:30 PM. And, there will be a car and motorcycle cruise-in.
Make sure to walk around downtown to see the featured guests, the scarecrows, created by local businesses, organizations and groups, that will be displayed throughout downtown Pearisburg.
After the Scarecrow Festival, bring a chair to Tazewell Street near the front steps of the Pearisburg Town Municipal Building for more live music from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM featuring the Crystal River Band and Attic Static. The Giles Rotary Club will also have a beer garden on Tazewell Street during this time.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Some activities have an additional charges.
Parking is available on the street or in parking lots off Tazewell Street and Mountain Lake Avenue.
