Warm Hearth Village Center presents the Health Connections program "Atherosclerosis - Hardening of the Article"s on Friday, October 14, 2022.

Atherosclerosis is a thickening or hardening of the arteries. It is caused by a buildup of plaque in the inner lining of an artery. Join Dr. Patterson as he helps us understand the causes, risk factors,
symptoms and treatments for this common condition.

John Patterson, MD is a Cardiologist with Lewis Gale Physicians, serving the New River Valley. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Patterson is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and has over 20 years of experience specializing in
Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
