The Bengali Students' Association (BSA) at Virginia Tech presents their annual Durga Pujo on Sunday, October 16, 2022 inside the Commonwealth Ballroom located within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Event Schedule:
• 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Puja Ceremony
• 1:00-2:00 PM: Bhog
• 2:30-5:30 PM: Cultural Show
• 5:30-7:00 PM: Dinner

Witness the Pujo and the exciting cultural program along with delicious Bengali food during dinner. We extend our heartiest invitation to everyone to join in celebrating the triumph of good over evil! Durga Pujo is the main festival of the West Bengal state in the country of India. This festival is widely celebrated in Bengal and throughout India every fall. Thousands of miles away from India, we strive to recreate a little piece of the festival ourselves.

Enjoy a day of festivities, food, dance and music on the occasion of Durga Pujo at Virginia Tech. The festival celebrates the victory of good over evil, light over darkness and love over hate.

The cultural show will include song and dance performances portraying Bengali Culture

All are welcome to join in all the festivities.

Admission is free to the Pujo, Bhog and Cultural Program. Dinner tickets are $20.00 for Virginia Tech students and $22.00 for the general public and Virginia Tech faculty and staff.

The dinner menu includes Fish Fry, Naan, Chola Masala, Fried Rice, Chicken Kosha, Paneer Korma and Payesh. Dinner tickets are limited.
