Description:
Core Physical Therapy presents the Run United 5k and 1 Mile Run / Walk to benefit the United Way NRV on Saturday, October 22, 2022 starting and ending at Margaret Beeks Elementary School in Blacksburg, VA.

Race Schedule:
• 9:30 AM: 1 Mile Run/Walk Starts
• 10:00 AM: 5k Starts

All proceeds will go to the United Way of the New River Valley. Please consider bringing a canned food item to donate to United Way to help those in need.

There will be a $200 cash prize for the first place female and the first place male participating in the 5K. There will also be a 50/50 raffle as well as a gift giveaway for the runners (via bib numbers) including gift cards from McAlister's Deli, SubStation II, Your Pie Pizza, Sam's Hotdogs, two one-month gold memberships to Blacksburg Boxing and Fitness and four football tickets to the Virginia Tech vs. UVA game on Saturday, November 26th..

The race will begin at Margaret Beeks Elementary School and will continue along a portion of the Huckleberry Trail.

Online registration will close at 5:00 PM on Friday, October 21st. Participants will be able to sign up in person on race day with payment by cash or check only on race day. Race day cost increases by $5.00 for each race.

Early packet pick up will be available at Core Physical Therapy (located at 922 University City Boulevard, Suite 204, Blacksburg, VA, directly behind Macado's) on Thursday, October 20th from 12:00-6:00 PM and Friday, October 21st from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. You may also pick up your packet on race day at Margaret Beeks starting as early as 8:30 AM.

Margaret Beeks Elementary School is located at 709 Airport Road in Blacksburg, VA.
