This Halloween its treats only at The Blacksburg Wine Lab! Join us as we host Pierre Chichportiches, the Eastern U.S. Sales Manager for Champagne Billecart-Salmon.

Pierre will be pouring an exclusive flight of true champagnes while Chef Bryan brings you an amazing array of amuse-bouche bites to pair with these classics, incorporating a taste of oyster, caviar, lobster, duck, and more. This composed plate of fantastic flavors accompanies the generous 3 oz pour of five different highly refined wines from the Champagne House of Billecart-Salmon.

Billecart-Salmon is a medium-sized champagne house in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, France. Founded in 1818 with the marriage of Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon, it is one of the few to remain family-owned.

Today, Mathieu Roland-Billecart, the 7th generation of the family, heads the House with the support of Antoine, Deputy General Manager in charge of export, Jean and François Roland-Billecart. Billecart-Salmon is rooted in the strength of family, affording them "the luxury of taking their time to make exceptional wine".

Even though two centuries have passed since the creation of Billecart-Salmon champagnes, its motto remains unchanged: "Give priority to quality, strive for excellence".
