Blacksburg Parks and Recreation, the New River Valley Kennel Club and Fetch N' Fly present the 2022 Annual Festival of the Dogs on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the Blacksburg Municipal Park.

• 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM: Canine Good Citizenship & Trick Dog Title Testing
• 11:30 AM - 2:15 PM: Obstacle Course for Beginners
• 11:45 AM: Games: Who Can Catch the Most, Best Costume, Limbo & Simon Says
• 12:30 PM: Blacksburg Police Department's K9 Unit
• 1:15 PM: Discs & Tricks Demo
• 1:30 PM: Games: Who Can Catch the Most, Best Costume, Limbo & Simon Says
• 1:45 PM: Nosework Demo (Scent Demo)
• 2:15 PM: Silent Auction Closes & Winners Announced
Bring your dog and family as we celebrate our dogs! Join us outside on the fields for demonstrations of dog sports, pet vendors, food trucks, a photo booth, costume contest, good canine citizen testing, games for owners and their dogs and a silent auction all benefiting the Blacksburg Dog Park.
The vendor lineup includes Let’s Aroo, Bella & Beau's Biscuits, That Guy Pet Services, Kibbles on Main, Hi-D-Ho Dog Training Inc. and more! Sam's Hot Dog Stand Blacksburg and Squeeze'um and Shake'um Refreshment will also be on-site with hot dogs and lemonade!
Admission is free for spectators. For owners & dogs who want to participate, a $5.00 donation allows you to participate in all events.
Parking at Caboose Park and the far tennis courts is encouraged.
