UPDATE: Due to the winds and cold temperatures expected Saturday, we will move the Frosty 5K and Jingle Bell Mile to Monday, December 26th. We will have the Jingle Bell Mile at 11:00 AM and the Frosty 5K at 11:30 AM.

Runabout Sports presents the 20th Annual Frosty 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run on Saturday, December 25, 2022 starting and ending behind the Food Lion located at North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA.

Race Schedule:
• 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Packet Pickup & Race Day Registration
• 12:30 PM: 1 Mile Fun Run start
• 1:00 PM: Frosty 5k start
• 2:15 PM: Awards and Raffle

Run or walk a 5k on Christmas Eve! The race starts and finishes on the soccer field behind the Food Lion on North Main Street in Blacksburg, with the majority of the race run on roads and paved bike paths. Costumes are welcome.

The race has a fast 1st mile and a challenging last mile to help burn those holiday calories! Every mile is marked with water available at mile two and a variety of snacks at the finish. This race always has great door prizes for participants. Awards will be given for overall race winner and age group winners.

The cost is $26.00 for the 5k if you register before Wednesday, December 14th. Late registration is $30.00. The Fun Run is free with promo code 'AdjustNRV' otherwise Fun Run registration is $5.00 and shirts will be available for purchase.

Every 5k participant is guaranteed a long-sleeve shirt with registration before Wednesday, December 14th. Extra shirts will be printed to the best of our abilities and calculations, however, there is no guarantee for signups after the deadline.

The Frosty 5K is the final race in the 2022 RunAbout Race Series.
