The Floyd Country Store and the Springhouse Community School presents a Free Screening of "Just Mercy" on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, 2023.
Watch the film adaptation of Bryan Stevenson's bestselling book, "Just Mercy". It's the powerful true story of a Harvard-educated lawyer who goes to Alabama to defend the disenfranchised and wrongly condemned including Walter McMillian, a man sentenced to death despite evidence proving his innocence. Bryan fights tirelessly for Walter with the system stacked against them.
The 2019 film is rated PG-13 and stars Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx and Brie Larson.

The screening will be followed by a discussion.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Screening starts at 2:00 PM with snacks and beverages provided.

Note: We will only be open for the screening. The cafe and store will be closed.
