Agricultural and Applied Economics applies economic principles to food and fiber production, natural resource management, community and regional economic development, environmental policy, and international trade.
We focus on developing the specialized skills and knowledge needed in economic modeling, data analytics, econometrics, forecasting, and micro- and macroeconomics.
The hands-on approach integrates tools and frameworks with industry and government issues, complemented by applied coursework in commodity markets, pricing, and contemporary issues and responses in food systems.
The program is 30 credit hours with a flexible schedule and takes 24 months to complete. No GRE required and 100% online.
