Claytor Lake State Park presents the talk "An Evening with Karen 'Anave Wolf' Herdman - Different Tribes, Different Journeys" on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Water's Edge Meeting Facility.
Join us for a special guest speaker, Karen "Anave Wolf" Herdman, for a presentation of "Different Tribes, Different Journeys". Ren has local roots and returns to the area to share her knowledge whenever she has the opportunity. Much of her talk will focus on the Woodland Tribes, Cherokee, Saponi, and Tutelo, who are known to have lived in this region.
This talk is free to attend, but donations will be accepted for her Native American causes.
The Virginia State Park parking fee of $7.00 per vehicle does apply.
