The Friends of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library presents the 27th Annual New River Valley Garden Tour on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at seven private gardens in the Blacksburg, Virginia area.

• [Ms] Marquis Garden: 2904 Wakefield Dr. Blacksburg
• [My] Mattingly Garden: 2107 Glade Rd. Blacksburg
• [Mi] Miller Garden: 3007 Wakefield Dr. Blacksburg
• [S] Stewart Garden: 413 Giles Rd. Blacksburg
• [W] Wilder Garden: 3009 Wakefield Dr. Blacksburg

The New River Valley Garden Tour is a self-guided tour of seven private glorious gardens in Blacksburg showcasing innovative, specialty and simply beautiful private gardens each July.

At the Keciorius Garden there will be a Master Gardener Plant Clinic and guests can donate $10.00 (cash or check only) for a raffle ticket on the day of the tour for a chance to win an artist-painted rain barrel ready for installation.

Additionally, notecards of each garden will be available for purchase at the Marquis Garden for $10.00 for a pack of five, cash or check only.

Tickets, which includes a program and map, are $15.00 and are available for purchase in-person at Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Jesse Peterman (Floyd, VA) and Meadowbrook (Shawsville) Libraries, at any of the gardens on the day of the tour or online at: http://www.mfrlfriends.org/wp/garden-tour/.

Note: Online sales will be closed at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 7th.

All proceeds will benefit the local library programs.

The tour is held rain or shine.
