Description:
The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts is hosting the Berkshire Choral International Festival culminating in their concert on Saturday, July 15 in the Moss Arts Center.
Over 100 singers are preparing a concert of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana," as well as Brahms' "Schicksalslied" (Song of Destiny). The chorus is comprised of over 100 singers, including several Blacksburg Master Chorale members, along with guest soloists Anna Schubert (soprano), Daniel Rich (baritone), and Arnold Geis (tenor). Jenny Wong, assistant conductor of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, will be the guest artistic leader.
Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for youth ages 3-17.
