The Dublin Library (Charles & Ona B Free Memorial Library) presents a Silent Film Night Screening featuring "Outside the Law" on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in the Community Room.

Join us for a Lon Chaney gangster classic silent film! The 1920 crime, romance thriller stars Priscilla Dean, Wheeler Oakman and Lon Chaney.

Movie Synopsis:
In this early collaboration with director Tod Browning (Dracula, Freaks), Chaney delivers a dual performance of dramatic intensity, starring as Ah Wing, a kind-hearted student of Confucian philosophy, and Black Mike Sylva, a murderous rake of the San Francisco underworld.
