JBR Vineyards presents their 4th Annual Pawpaw Festival on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 12:00-5:00 PM and on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 1:00-5:00 PM.
Celebrate all things Paw Paw while sipping delicious wine and listening to amazing live music! Learn about this native Appalachian fruit, a relative of the Papaya, that was George Washington’s favorite dessert (chilled paw paw) and which Mary Draper Ingles ate on her long way home.
Wonder through the pawpaw patch with an excellent glass of wine. Listen to the Fork Mountain Ramblers while sitting in the sun or under the tent. Try some paw paw products including mead, pawpaw nut bread and pawpaw jelly. Start your own pawpaw patch with saplings available for purchase for $10.00 (cash only).
The Fork Mountain Ramblers play old-time music along with songs from the 1920s and 1930s thrown in the mix, including country blues, ragtime and jug band.

Wine is $5.00 per glass and bottles of wine range from $10.00-$20.00 + tax.
There is no admission fee.
Dogs and kids welcome. There is no food service.
