Virginia Tech, Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. and the Town of Blacksburg presents the Kick-Off on College Avenue on Friday, September 29, 2023.

We are closing College Avenue to kick off Fall Family Weekend and the Virginia Tech vs. Pitt football game weekend. Grab a beverage or a bite to eat at a downtown Blacksburg restaurant, and enjoy activities and entertainment appropriate for all ages.

Activities include:
• Cornhole and other Lawn Games
• Music
• Beer garden
• Free swag
• Virginia Tech resources
• The "Future Hokies" Kid Zone
• Learning VT traditions
• Special appearances by our spirit squads (and maybe even the Hokie Bird)
• and so much more!

Admission is free and all are welcome.
