Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation presents the 2023 Fall Drive-Through Shred-A-Thon on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in the parking lot of the Christiansburg Recreation Center.
Help prevent identity theft and shred unwanted documents by joining us for our Shred-A-Thon. This is a drive-through only event. No walk-ups will be allowed. We prefer that papers to be shredded be in a plastic storage bin or box, no bigger than 22.5" x 18" x 11.5 inches. Limit three per car.
Please make sure you only have documents that can be shredded. Items that can't be shredded include metal (including three ring binders), composition notebooks, hanging file folders, paint brushes, padlocks, hardback books, keys, eyeglasses, bungee cords, etc.
The Christiansburg Recreation Center is located at 1600 North Franklin St in Christiansburg, VA.
