Description:
The Radford University College of Visual & Performing Arts presents the concert titled "Halloween Spooktacular IV: Spooktacular Rises from the Grave!" on Friday, October 27, 2023 inside the Covington Center on the campus of Radford University.
This is a Halloween themed live music event with art macabre, dance and performance elements designed to create spooky immersive experience. There will also be video trivia before the show to test the audience’s knowledge of music related to television and horror films.
Once in the concert hall, people can expect a wide range of music. Selections include songs from The Phantom of the Opera and Harry Potter to pop and rock tunes. There will even a piano accompaniment by Dr. Matt Cataldi arranged for selected scenes from the 1922 silent classic, Nosferatu.
Entrance is free and all are welcome, but seating is limited.
The event will not feature gore or particularly lurid material, but some elements, including the use of film clips and trailers, may be intense for young children or sensitive audience members. Discretion is advised.
We love to have everyone join in on the fun!
Doors open at 7:00 PM with the main performance beginning at 7:30 PM.
