Science on Tap - New River Valley presents the program titled "The Science of Storytelling: Conservation Media and Connecting People to the Wild" on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Rising Silo Farm Brewery.
Wildlife photographer Alex Freeze will share stories and photos from her career and we will discuss the power of media for wildlife conservation. Alex will lead a do-it-yourself nature photography walk around Rising Silo!
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Science on Tap - New River Valley is a monthly event with science-inspired speakers, performers, and discussions. We support bringing science to our community and our community’s support to local research.
We kick off the event with games, comedy, or other fun things. Then, an invited guest researcher demos their research. And then we'll discuss, ask questions, learn together and mingle.
