Description:
The NRV Jeep Club presents the annual Cancer Kids and Christmas Jeep Poker Run on Saturday, October 21, 2023 starting at the Radford Travel Center.

Schedule:
• 9:00 AM: Registration begins
• 10:00 AM: Poker Run begins

All jeep and classic cars are invited to join the Poker Run to benefit the local non-profit Cancer Kids and Christmas that helps families in need and battling cancer. There will also be great door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. A plaque will be awarded for the favorite participating jeep. All proceeds will be donated to Cancer Kids and Christmas.

• 1st Card: Radford Travel Center (Registration Site)
• 2nd Card: Jim's Grocery
• 3rd Card: Walker Valley Market
• 4th Card: Hill Top Grocery
• 5th Card: Direct Sports

Cancer Kids and Christmas is a local organization that has helped more than 60 families who are battling cancer have a better Christmas since 2012 raising over $165,000. 100% of the proceeds and donations are donated to the families each year.

Cancer, Kids, and Christmas was founded in 2012 by Travis Sparks after his own battle with cancer and seeing firsthand the strain it put on his own family. He saw that without the help of family and friends, his immediate family may have felt the financial strains to the point of bankruptcy. That would have meant that there would certainly have been no Christmas that year.

We provide our cancer families with the majority of all monies raised through our events. With zero dollars going to administrative fees, our Board of Directors are all serving (donating their time) with no compensation from the organization.

Entry is $20.00 per vehicle and $10.00 for each additional hand.

A $5.00 hot dog lunch will be available at Direct Sports, the final stop.

Lets make this year even bigger so that the little ones and the families in need can have a great holiday.

The Radford Travel Center is located at 2395 Tyler Road in Christiansburg, VA.
