The Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources and Environment (CNRE) presents the Hokie Hike at Pandapas Pond with Virginia Tech's Dr. Dendro, John Seiler on Saturday, November 4, 2023 meeting at the paved lower lot at Pandapas Pond.
Join the College of Natural Resources and Environment’s Dr. Dendro (John Seiler, tree physiology specialist) at Pandapas Pond, one of the U.S. Forest Service's most popular recreational areas, for a casual walk on easy trails. Seiler will discuss ecological processes that are driving ecosystem changes around the pond, and hikers will be able to discuss and taste! common and unique tree species found in the area.

The hike is open to the public.
Meet by 9:00 AM at the paved lower lot at Pandapas Pond.
Participants are responsible for their own driving and parking arrangements.
Pandapas Pond is located at Forest Service Road 808 in Blacksburg, VA.
